On July 19, 2017 we visited the Sunflower Orphanage with general supplies and fun games for the children. Sunflower is a loving home to teenage orphans, located in the center of Nha Trang. Sunflower’s sister orphanage, Dai An, cares for younger orphans in the countryside of Cam Ranh, to the south of the city. Sunflower relies upon donations, and the caregivers provided us with a detailed list of items for this visit. We brought standing fans, bags of rice, peanuts, cooking oil, seasonings, bottles of soy sauce, sugar, food trays, hangers, toothpaste, detergent, bowls, spoons, diapers, baby formula, and snacks.

The children helped bring in all the supplies, and had some fun with the boxes the fans came in. We also got to visit with the orphanage’s two new babies. As special treats for the children, we brought balloons and fun bubble blowing toys, where the children made bubbles through special straws.  This visit was made possible through the kind donation of An Nguyen of the USA. Thank you!!!
