On January 30, 2018 we brought special gifts to the Nhan Ai Orphanage to celebrate the lunar new year. Nhan Ai is a large orphanage in Cam Ranh, to the south of Nha Trang, that supports children of all ages. The nuns at the orphanage provide a loving home for over 120 children, and depend on donations for survival. The lunar new year, Tet, is the biggest holiday of the year, and we wanted to do something special for the orphans of Nhan Ai. As Nhan Ai is a poor orphanage, we try to bring the children some joy on the holidays. A big tradition of Tet is getting to wear brand new clothes at the start of the new year, as this means you will have a happy year to come.
In our first of 2 trips to the orphanage, we brought brand new clothes for all the orphans. The children gathered in the main courtyard with their new clothes, and many were quick to put them on. We also had a lovely visit with the orphanage’s babies at play time.
This visit was made possible through a kind donation from Robyn of JL Support Services.
Thank you!!!
