On July 28, 2017 our team of volunteers visited the Thua Sai Home for Disabled Children. Thua Sai provides a caring home and school for children with neurological issues in the community while parents are at work. In addition to caring for these children, the nuns also provide classes to further the children’s education. On this visit, our team brought general supplies as well as school supplies for the new school year. In all, we brought bags of rice, sauces and seasonings, cleaning and bathroom supplies, some snacks and balloons for the children, and all schoolbooks, notebooks, and school supplies for each child’s grade. Our team spent time with the children in the common room, then went into the kitchen to help prepare lunch. It was a very fun visit!
