This May, our team set out for the Hy Vong Home for Disabled Children, loaded with essential supplies and ready to make a difference. Before arriving, we checked in with the home’s dedicated caretakers to learn exactly what the children needed most to improve their daily comfort and quality of life.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, we were thrilled to fulfill their entire wishlist! We delivered a massive haul of nutritious food, pantry staples, and hygiene essentials, including:
- Pantry Staples: Vegetable oil, fish sauce, vermicelli noodles, and boxes of instant noodles.
- Protein & Nutrition: Pork, canned meat, eggs, nuts, and seeds.
- Dairy & Treats: Packaged milk, condensed milk, yogurt, sweets, and popsicles.
- Health & Safety: Hand sanitizer and mosquito spray.
After stacking the supplies in the courtyard, it was time for some fun. We handed out balloons, and the courtyard quickly filled with laughter. As the energy wound down, everyone gathered on the ground to cool off with delicious popsicles—the perfect treat for a hot May day!
This beautiful day was made entirely possible by our wonderful donors Steven Burger, Daniel Cole, Kateryna Lo, and Linh Lam. Thank you for your continued support and for helping us bring tangible comfort and pure joy to the children at Hy Vong.
