On May 18, 2016 we brought donations, essential supplies, and a birthday party to the Lac Thien Orphanage. Lac Thien is a poor orphanage in the countryside north of Nha Trang that cares for over 30 young children. With this visit, we brought the orphans 2 new bicycles, which they were very eager to test out. From talking to the nuns at the orphanage, we also brought essential supplies, including boxes of noodles, boxes of milk, eggs, beans, seasonings, and cleaning supplies.
As a special treat for the orphans, we threw a surprise birthday party for everyone, complete with cakes and balloons. It was a very fun day!
