In April 2025, we brought a sweet treat to the children of Thien Tam Orphanage – an ice cream party! Coordinating with the orphanage caretakers, we combined our monthly delivery of essential food and supplies with plans for a fun surprise. On the day of our visit, our team packed up a van and drove to the orphanage, eager to share a special day.
Upon arrival, the children helped us unload the monthly supplies, including rice, sugar, and other necessities, placing them on a table in the courtyard. Then came the real treat! We brought out cartons of various ice cream flavors, cones, and a colorful array of toppings. The teenagers took on the joyful task of scooping ice cream for everyone. The day was filled with laughter and smiles, a wonderful experience for all!

Learn More About the Thien Tam Orphanage
Founded in 2004 and located in Phuoc Dong ward, about 20 minutes south of Nha Trang’s city center, the Thien Tam Orphanage provides a loving home for children. The orphanage is run by Nguyen Dinh Chi and his wife, Nguyen Thi Kim Lien. A former orphan himself, Chi established the orphanage in his own home to offer a place of sanctuary for orphans in the community. Currently, they care for a small group of adolescents and one baby.
