The Dai An Orphanage had a great visit in April 2025 thanks to generous donations that brought food and general supplies. We contacted the caretakers and asked about the needs of the children. We compiled a shopping list and bought everything at local markets.
When we arrived, the children helped us unload the van filled with vital items such as rice, eggs, milk, baby formula, a selection of fish and meats (including fresh and canned), bao buns, fish balls, seasonings, spring rolls, as well as crab, pate, noodles, fish cakes, and meat cakes. Essential toiletries and cleaning products, including toothpaste, body wash, bar soap, and general cleaners, were also provided.
The children themselves were wonderful helpers in organizing the supplies, and lead coordinator Mai Khanh added a sweet touch by distributing popsicles. This meaningful contribution to the Dai An Orphanage was made possible through the thoughtful donations of Sharon Kelly, Stephen Milne, Scott Huynh, and Steven Burger – our sincere gratitude!
