On August 6, 2012 we drove up to the Mai Am Anh Dao Orphanage with donations from Australia. We brought formula for the month, provided by Alan Pham, and funds to buy more formula next month. Alan continues to look after the health and well-being of the orphans at Anh Dao, giving nourishment to those most needy.

Two months ago, we were contacted by Alan and Anne Dickenson, also from Australia. They were traveling through Vietnam and wanted some information about the places that we help. Upon their return, they made a generous donation to assist the orphans in the area. We bought 5 boxes of noodles, a box of dried fish, a box of dried shrimp, a box of dried squid, five-hundred eggs, balloons and snacks.

Joining us were two of Lovingkindness Vietnam’s volunteers, Hong Ngoc and Phuong Anh. We brought with us donated clothing and shoes.

The children, as always, were amazing, and our heartfelt thanks go out to Alan Pham and Alan and Anne Dickenson for giving so much to these children.
