In mid-October 2019 we had a lovely visit at the Hy Vong Home for Disabled Children. We had contacted the caretakers to learn of their current needs, bought the supplies at local markets, loaded up a car, and drove out to the Home. Upon arrival, the children came out to greet our team and we stacked everything we had brought on the courtyard steps.
On this visit, we brought boxes of noodles, lots of seasoning packages, condensed milk, bottles of shampoo, soaps, toiletries, and laundry detergent. We wanted to give the children a fun surprise, so we also brought some yummy sweet breads and cakes.
After the children had their snack, out team spent some time at the home and got to see the children playing in the courtyard. It was a lovely visit with a group of amazing children.

ABOUT THE HY VONG HOME FOR DISABLED CHILDREN
Located in the Suoi Cat district to the west of Nha Trang, the Hy Vong Home for Disabled Children offers a home and school for children with neurological disorders and disabilities whose parents cannot afford the specialized care their children require. The nuns and caretakers teach the children in classrooms on the grounds, and it is a loving and caring environment for these wonderful children.
