In December 2024 we had a fun visit with the children at the Anh Dao Orphanage. We had spoken with the head nun and planned to bring food and general supplies for the month. Our team bought everything at local markets and drove out to the orphanage.

This month, we brought ramen, seafood, pork, beef, tofu sheets, vegan meat pies, vegan ham, vegan chicken, mushrooms, fresh vegetables, eggs, sausages, cooking oil, soy sauce, fish sauce, chili sauce, sugar, salt, oyster sauce, and toiletries.

On the way to the orphanage, our team stopped off at a local bakery and brought sweet treats for everyone. So fun!

This charity trip was sponsored by Nicole Londt, Linh Lam, Shaun Minn, Vanessa Nguyen, Dao Giving Fund, Alysha Sims, Theresa Farr, Whitley Johnson, Littlechad Newfield, and Geoffrey Mark Solomon in memory of Ron Lieberman. Thank you!!!

ABOUT THE ANH DAO ORPHANAGE

Founded in 2004 by the Buddhist nun Thich Nu An Son, a large group of orphans are cared for at this wonderful home in Ninh Hoa, 62 kilometers north of Nha Trang. Visit the orphanage and you’ll find a well-organized and loving environment. The children are happy, and it’s a joy to sit, talk, and play with the little ones. To help provide nourishment to the children, and as a small means of earning funds, Sister An Son tends a small farm behind the orphanage, in front of the girl’s living quarters. The children eat the vegetables that are grown here, and the surplus can be sold to help pay for monthly expenses.
