On September 29, 2017 we visited the Thua Sai Home for Disabled Children with lots of essential supplies. Thua Sai is a loving home to children with neurological disabilities, whose parents cannot afford the specialized care to look after them. Some of the children stay at the home all year, while others return home on weekend. The nuns at Thua Sai provide food, lodging, and educations to the children, in a caring and loving environment.

On this visit, we brought bags of rice, boxes of noodles, new bowls & plates, mops & buckets, cleaning supplies, laundry soaps, dish soaps, bread rolls, and snacks for the children. As the Mid-Autumn Festival is approaching, we also brought special paper lanterns for all of the children. As always, the children were adorable when our volunteers arrived. They quickly put together their lanterns and paraded around the common room, as is the custom on this holiday. They then sat in a circle with our team and dove into their snacks.

This kindhearted visit was made possible through a donation from the McDuffie family. Thank you!!!
