On September 20, 2017 we visited the Khanh Son Charity Home & School with lots of essential supplies. Located far to the southwest of Nha Trang, Khanh Son is a rugged mountainous region with scattered farming villages, all in poverty. Sister Huong and several other nuns founded the home and school for the children of the poor communities in the region. It is a loving place that houses and cares for many of the community’s children whose families struggle to support and provide for them. Some of the children stay at the home year-round, sleep in dormitories, and have meals together in a communal dining hall. The nuns provide a nurturing environment for all, ensure the children attend local public schools, and offer free daycare, kindergarten, and after school tutoring lessons.

On this visit, we brought bags of rice, boxes of noodles, bags of beans, cooking oil, seasonings, laundry and cleaning supplies, and other general supplies. The children were eager to help move everything into the home, and we brought yummy snacks for our little helpers.

This visit was made possible through the kind donations of Juli and Kyle.

Thank you!!!
