On November 2, 2017 we visited the Song Lo Orphanage to the west of Nha Trang. Song Lo is a small orphanage in a peaceful country setting. The orphanage is dependent on donations for survival, so when we contacted the nuns to learn their most pressing needs, they had a specific list of items. When our team arrived, we brought packages of noodles, different seasonings, laundry soap, cleaning supplies, dish soap, packages of diapers, lots of packages of yogurt, milk, bags of sticky rice, bags of bean varieties, bags of flour, packages of soy products, bags of mushrooms, and some yummy snacks.
The children gathered around in their main courtyard for the snacks, and it was a very fun visit.
