In April 2022 we had a great visit with the children at the Suoi Cat Charity Home. We brought lots of food and essential supplies, then had a big lunch with everyone. Earlier in the month, we had contacted the caretakers and made a list of items they were running low on. Our team bought everything on the list at local markets, loaded up a van, and drove out to the home.
We stacked all the provisions next to the gardens and everyone gathered together. On this visit, we brought boxes of noodles, dried fish, soup flavorings, seasonings, siracha, yogurt, milk, sweet rice, mayonnaise, sausages, coconut milk, cooking oil, fresh fruits, floor soap, dish soap, cleaning products.
Next, we arranged for a big lunch feast. Everyone gathered in the dining room for hot pots and other delicacies. Then ice cream bars for dessert. So fun!

ABOUT THE SUOI CAT CHARITY HOME
Suoi Cat is a poor community to the west of Nha Trang, composed of rural farming hamlets that live in poverty. The Suoi Cat Charity Home is a loving place that houses and cares for many of the community’s children whose families struggle to support and provide for them. The home is composed of young children and teenage girls, who stay at the home year-round, sleep in dormitories, and have meals together in a communal dining hall. The children attend public school and receive tutoring and extra lessons at the home.
