In April 2022 we had a great visit to the Dai An Orphanage. After getting in touch with the orphanage caretakers, our team made a detailed list of items the orphanage needed. We did lots of shopping at local markets, loaded up a van, and made the drive out to the orphanage.

When we arrived, the children helped carry all the provisions to the courtyard. On this trip, we brought racks of eggs (chicken and duck), bottles of soy sauce, siracha, boxes of instant noodles, sausages, canned meats, pork, sugar, ketchup, garlic, salt, and laundry detergent.

As a fun treat, our team handed out frozen sweets for the children to enjoy. So fun!

This charity trip was made possible through the kind donations of Sharon Kelly, Stephen Milne, and Scott Huynh. Thank you!!!

While we were there, the caretakers shared some recent pictures of the children at Easter, painting Easter eggs. So cute!

ABOUT THE DAI AN ORPHANAGE

The Dai An Orphanage is located in Cam Ranh district, south of Nha Trang, and cares for approximately 30 young children. It was founded by the same church that runs the Sunflower Orphanage in Nha Trang. Dai An is in a tranquil countryside locale and has a large facility for the children to grow and play. The caretakers provide a nurturing and loving home for these amazing children. There are also classrooms in the orphanage to provide the children with extra tutoring after school.
