On August 22, 2017 we visited the Nhan Ai Orphanage with lots of supplies for the new school year. Nhan Ai is a loving home to over 120 orphans, located in the peaceful countryside of Cam Ranh, to the south of Nha Trang. With the school year approaching, the nuns at Nhan Ai must raise funds to pay the many costs of the children’s education, from kindergarten through college. This includes buying new school uniforms, shoes, textbooks, backpacks, school supplies, and paying school fees.
On a previous visit, we brought textbooks and school supplies for the orphanage. On this visit, we brought all new backpacks, shoes, sandals, and school uniforms for every child at Nhan Ai. The children were very excited to put on their new shoes, and were quick to pick out backpacks. Later, they gathered together in their new school uniforms. This visit was made possible through the kind donations of Juli and Kyle.
