In September 2021 we bought computer and remote learning supplies for the Nhan Ai Orphanage. The COVID lockdown in Vietnam has delayed the school year and made learning a challenge for the children. For those who are able, there are options for remote learning. Nhan Ai has a computer lab for the children to do homework and extra studies, but they didn’t have equipment for communications and interactivity. We were very happy to buy equipment that will help the children in all of their distance learning.
We had everything delivered to the orphanage, and the nuns took pictures of the computer lab. They also sent us lots of fun pictures of the children in the orphanage’s farms, then some great pictures of the children wearing new clothes. There is also a picture of the orphanage’s latest member, a newborn that was left at the orphanage’s gates.
These education gifts for the orphanage were made possible through kind donations from Kathy Nguyen, KTD Services LLC, and Eamonn Gahan. Thank you!!!
ABOUT THE NHAN AI ORPHANAGE
Founded in 1996 by Sister Nguyen Thi Bao Quyen, the Nhan Ai Orphanage resides behind the Giao Xu Phu Nhon Catholic Church in Cam Ranh, to the south of Nha Trang. The orphanage is run by the nuns of Nhan Ai and relies entirely upon donations, most of which come from people in the community. Nhan Ai is the largest orphanage that we assist and houses approximately 130 orphans in a wonderfully tranquil home.
