On August 15, 2012 we donated a sewing machine to the Kim Son Charity School’s vocational program. In addition to offering free Primary School to underprivileged youngsters, the Kim Son pagoda also has a vocational school that teaches sewing skills to young adults in the area. The cost of this schooling can be very expensive at private institutions, and by offering it free to those that couldn’t otherwise afford it is an immeasurable gift to the community. All of the sewing machines are donated, and we were happy to give them one more for this wonderful program.
