On February 20, 2017 we brought aid to orphan babies. Our first visit was to the Nhan Ai Orphanage, located in Cam Ranh to the south of Nha Trang. Nhan Ai cares for over 130 orphans, including many babies. The nuns endeavor to provide the healthiest food to all of the children in their care, but the cost of baby formula is quite in Vietnam. After speaking to the nuns about their most pressing needs, we sent the orphanage 30 cans of baby formula.

At the same time, one of coordinators learned of a recent orphan in Nha Trang. A baby about 2 months old was abandoned in front of a small shop in a poor neighborhood. Neighbors and the authorities searched for the parents, but they were nowhere to be found. The owners of the shop were a poor couple who already had several young children of their own, and they chose to adopt the baby. As the family is very poor, and to thank them for their welcoming the baby into their home, our volunteers brought baby formula, diapers, wipes, soaps, and small toys.

These wonderful visits to help orphan babies was made possible through the donations of a large group of people from around the world. Our thanks to Dane Sawmiller, Daniel Cole, Kim Nguyen, Suruchi Khemka, Nhu Le, Tony Tran, Thao Dinh, and Dat Phan.

Thank you!!!
