Completed Water Well Project at the Nhan Ai Orphanage
On February 2, 2016 we completed our water well project at the Nhan Ai Orphanage in Cam Ranh. Nhan Ai uses a combination of a well and tower for most of their water needs. Last year, JL Support Services sponsored the construction of a new water tower, which greatly benefited the orphanage. About a month ago, the nuns at the orphanage said their water well system had broken down and needed repairing. We immediately developed a project to ensure their well was functioning properly, and this was once again entirely sponsored by JL Support Services.
In 2015, we built a brand new water well system for the Dai An Orphanage, which required exploratory digging, and was a much larger endeavor. With Nhan Ai, the well was already established, but the pipes and mechanisms for extracting the water needed replacing. Engineers worked on the repairs, and we completed the project on schedule. When the nuns opened the valve on the completed system, the children couldn’t help but dip their toes in the nice cool water.
