On April 29, 2011 we drove up to the Mai Am Anh Dao Orphanage with a big group of generous individuals. We met with Sister An Son and sat with the children for a spell. Long-time donors Jeff and Quang Khanh Boisson of Maiche, France bought rice for the orphanage, and handed out fun snack bags for the kids. The Boisson family also paid for all of the school uniforms and school fees for the upcoming school year. It was a wonderful day for the children’s education!

Also joining us were Robert Costabile, Hien Phan, and Tran Thuy Phuong Thy from Nha Trang. Robert and Hien are planning some ambitious charity projects this year, and this was the first time they had been introduced to the orphanage. When Thy learned that the children don’t often have the opportunity to have eggs, she immediately donated money to buy some eggs for their next meal.

There was also a very generous donation of 100 kilos of rice made by Bea Nguyen of Nha Trang, which we brought with us on this trip.

Our thanks to everyone who made this day possible.
