On April 11, 2019 we visited the Hy Vong Home for Disabled Children with essential supplies and some fun gifts for the children. Hy Vong is a loving home for children with neurological disorders whose parents cannot afford the specialized care their children require. There are children with cerebral palsy, autism, as well as deaf, mute, and blind children being cared for at the home. Located in the countryside to the southwest of Nha Trang, the nuns at Hy Vong provide for the children and offer a nurturing home.

We contacted the nuns at Hy Vong to learn of current needs and organized a visit. Our team brought bags of bean varieties, cooking oil, boxes of noodles, condensed milk, cooking oil, seasonings, soaps, shampoo, juice boxes and snacks, and toys for the children.

The children gathered in the common room and we handed out the snacks and toys. Everyone helped carry the supplies inside, then the children sat on the floor and had fun with their toys.

This charity trip was made possible through the kindhearted donations of An Nguyen.

Thank you!!!
