In August 2023 we had a great visit with the amazing children at the Thua Sai Home for Disabled Children. We coordinated with the home’s caretakers to bring food and general supplies they needed for the month. Our team of volunteers did lots of shopping at local markets, loaded up a van, and made the drive south into Cam Ranh to see the children.
When we arrived, we brought all the supplies into the common room, and all the children gathered together. On this visit, we brought bags of rice, boxes of ramen, milk, sugar, racks of eggs, bottles of fish sauce, pork, beef, orange juice, laundry detergent, shampoo, body wash, and bao buns.
As a nice treat, we handed out pudding cups for everyone to enjoy. It was a lovely day!

ABOUT THE THUA SAI HOME FOR DISABLED CHILDREN
Located in a peaceful country setting in Cam Ranh, to the south of Nha Trang, Thua Sai offers a home and school for children with neurological disorders whose parents cannot afford the specialized care their children require. The nuns and caretakers teach the children in classrooms on the grounds, and it is a loving home to these wonderful children.
