In August 2023 we had a very fun visit at the Thien Tam Orphanage. After coordinating with the orphanage caretakers, we arranged to have lots of food and general supplies delivered to the orphanage. We also prepared a special surprise for two of the children who recently had birthdays.
When our team arrived at the orphanage, the children helped stack all the food and supplies that we brought on a table in the courtyard. On this visit, we brought bags of rice, boxes of noodles, various meats, cooking oil, seasonings, sugar, rice paper, soy sauce, yogurt, and fresh vegetables.
We brought out two birthday cakes for the children. After the blew out the candles, they all got presents. Next, our team prepared a big feast for everyone. It was such a fun day!

ABOUT THE THIEN TAM ORPHANAGE
Founded in 2004, the Thien Tam Orphanage lies 20 minutes south of Nha Trang’s city center, in Phuoc Dong ward. The orphanage is run by Nguyen Dinh Chi and his wife Nguyen Thi Kim Lien. A former orphan himself, Chi set up the orphanage in his home as a place of love and sanctuary for orphans in the community. They currently care for 12 young children.
