In late October 2019 we had a great visit with the children at the Dai An Orphanage. We had contacted the caretakers about the orphanage’s current needs and organized a visit. We brought canned meats, sausages, laundry detergents, cleaning products, diapers, and brooms. As a fun treat for the children, we also brought yummy sweet breads and cakes, and the children helped hand out slides to their brothers and sisters. The children also had lots of fun taking silly pictures with our coordinator, Mai Khanh, then playing with balloons we had brought. At the end of our visit it was lunchtime, and our team stayed while the children set up tables and served lunch in the main room. A lovely visit!

This charity trip was made possible through the kind donations of Sharon Kelly and Stephen Milne. Thank you!!!

ABOUT THE DAI AN ORPHANAGE

The Dai An Orphanage is located in Cam Ranh district, south of Nha Trang, and cares for approximately 30 young children. It was founded by the same church that runs the Sunflower Orphanage in Nha Trang. Dai An is in a tranquil countryside locale and has a large facility for the children to grow and play. The caretakers provide a nurturing and loving home for these amazing children. There are also classrooms in the orphanage to provide the children with extra tutoring after school.
