This past June, we teamed up with the Anh Dao Orphanage to tackle a much-needed transformation. For years, the children played on a back courtyard and hallway floors made of cracked, broken, and heavily weathered concrete.

When the head nun shared her dream of repaving the area with durable, beautiful tiling, we knew we had to help. Her joy was unforgettable when we promised to back the project!

From Broken Concrete to Bright Smiles

The transformation took several weeks of hard work. The head nun kept us updated every step of the way with photos and progress reports.

When the last tile was laid, our volunteer team headed out to Anh Dao to celebrate the grand opening. We brought balloons, ice cream popsicles, and plenty of smiles to share with the children, who now have a safe, smooth, and beautiful place to play.

With Heartfelt Gratitude This wonderful project was made entirely possible by the incredible generosity of our donors. A massive thank you to: Steven Burger, the Kinghurst Foundation, Carolyn Chau-Kha, and two anonymous donors. Your support creates lasting change!

About the Anh Dao Orphanage

Established in 2004 by Buddhist nun Thich Nu An Son, the Anh Dao Orphanage is a safe haven for a large group of children in need. Located in Ninh Hoa, just 62 kilometers north of Nha Trang, this heartfelt home offers a structured and nurturing atmosphere where joy and kindness flourish. Visitors are always struck by the cheerful spirits of the children and the genuine delight of spending time talking, playing, and simply being present with them.

To support the children’s nourishment and help offset monthly expenses, Sister An Son cultivates a modest farm behind the orphanage, near the girls’ living quarters. The farm yields fresh vegetables that are served in daily meals, and any surplus is sold to contribute to the home’s upkeep. It’s a beautiful cycle of care, sustainability, and love in action.
