A few weeks ago, the Thua Sai Home for Disabled Children was buzzing with a different kind of energy. Thanks to our incredible community of supporters, we were thrilled to sponsor a special field trip for all the children at the home!
When we asked the caretakers how we could bring some extra joy into the children’s lives, they suggested a day of exploring local attractions. Our volunteers couldn’t wait to jump in and join the fun.
The Big Day Out
The adventure began bright and early. Dressed in matching outfits, the children excitedly boarded the bus and headed into Nha Trang.
Our itinerary was packed with pure joy:
- A Delicious Start: We kicked off the day with a wonderful group lunch at a local restaurant.
- Under the Sea: Next, we explored the wonders of the Khanh Hoa Aquarium, where the children marveled at the marine life.
- Park & Play: We wrapped up the day wandering through the beautiful adjacent farm-themed park and gardens.
From start to finish, the day was filled with laughter, curiosity, and unforgettable memories.
Making It Possible Moments like these—where kids just get to be kids—are only possible because of your generosity. Thank you to our amazing donors for giving these children a day they will cherish for a long time to come: Vanessa Nguyen, Alysha Sims, Koshu Takatsuji, Daniel Cole, Kateryna Lo, and a family in the USA.
ABOUT THE THUA SAI HOME FOR DISABLED CHILDREN
Located in a peaceful country setting in Cam Ranh, to the south of Nha Trang, Thua Sai offers a home and school for children with neurological disorders whose parents cannot afford the specialized care their children require. The nuns and caretakers teach the children in classrooms on the grounds, and it is a loving home to these wonderful children.
