In June 2026, we continued our initiative to provide cataract surgeries for elderly residents in Vietnam’s Can Tho province. For many seniors in this southwestern region, the cost of essential eye care remains a major barrier to necessary medical treatment.
Project Overview & Impact
- Consistent Support: This ongoing program is funded through the monthly sponsorship of Carolyn Chau-Kha, whose long-term commitment provides predictable, sustainable care for patients in need.
- June Results: Working alongside our local volunteer team, we successfully coordinated surgeries for 8 individuals who required urgent procedures this month.
- Direct Outcome: These operations address immediate vision impairment, helping the recipients safely manage daily activities and regain their independence.
