On July 5, 2016 we visited the Thien Tam Orphanage with essential donations, healthy treats, and a craft party. Thien Tam is a small orphanage to the south of Nha Trang, and provides a loving home to small children. The caretakers had some special requests for our visit, and we brought the orphanage bags of rice, boxes of noodles, beans, milk, fish sauce, and sticky rice. To prepare the children for the school year, we brought new backpacks and shoes for each orphan, and drawing supplies.
Mai Khanh and her team of volunteers also brought lots of fresh fruit and snacks, and threw a fun party for the children. After the children had eaten, it was time for arts and crafts, where the children used colored sand to make their own drawings. Everyone had lots of fun!
This trip to Thien Tam was made possible through the kind donation of Marty McEwan of Mammoth Sand and Gravel, who also made a generous donation to the Anh Dao Orphanage.
Thank you!!!
