On January 5, 2016 we brought essential supplies and snacks to the Phu Quang Orphanage. This trip was sponsored by an amazing group of individuals from across the globe: Hien Nguyen, Nhu Le, Terry Colgate, Thao Dinh, Thanh Tran, Daniel Cole, Chris Hammock, and Colin Pont.
Our coordinators Loan and Ngan talked to the head nun at the orphanage about their immediate needs, and brought baby formula, diapers, soaps, and healthy foods (dried mushrooms, soy products, and tamarind). We also gave them a small amount for monthly bills, and brought all of the children a yummy treat of ‘che’.
