In January 2020 we brought a Tet party to the Nhan Ai Orphanage. The Lunar New Year, Tet, is the biggest holiday in Vietnam, and we wanted the amazing children at Nhan Ai to have all the fun and celebrations of this special day. We coordinated with the nuns at the orphanage, and arranged for all of the children to have brand new clothes and shoes to welcome the new year. We also arranged for a big Tet feast with lots of traditional foods for everyone to enjoy. Such a fun day!
This charity trip was sponsored by the kind donations of Betty Lam. Thank you!!!
ABOUT THE NHAN AI ORPHANAGE
Founded in 1996 by Sister Nguyen Thi Bao Quyen, the Nhan Ai Orphanage resides behind the Giao Xu Phu Nhon Catholic Church in Cam Ranh, to the south of Nha Trang. The orphanage is run by the nuns of Nhan Ai and relies entirely upon donations, most of which come from people in the community. Nhan Ai is the largest orphanage that we assist and houses approximately 130 orphans in a wonderfully tranquil home.
