In September 2025, our team had a wonderful and productive visit to the Ngoc Van Orphanage. We were able to deliver lots of essential food and supplies and spent quality time with the children. After consulting with the caretakers to learn their current needs, our volunteers purchased all the items from local markets.
The donations included vital staples and hygiene products:
- Cooking Supplies: Bottles of soy sauce, cooking oil, and packages of seasonings.
- Household Essentials: Laundry detergent and toothpaste.
As a special treat, we prepared sweet boba tea for all the children and staff to enjoy, which made for a lovely day!
This entire charitable effort was made possible by the generous support of our donors: Dao Giving Fund, Alysha Sims, Tri Phung, Koshu Takatsuji, Kateryna Lo, Daniel Cole, Linh Lam, Littlechad Newfield, and an anonymous donor. There was also a donation from Amy Lam in memory of Tôn-nu Hai-Nhan. Thanks to all our donors!
ABOUT THE NGOC VAN ORPHANAGE
Located in the northern part of Khanh Hoa province, the Ngoc Van Orphanage was founded in 2020 after a big storm hit central Vietnam. There were many deaths from the storm, and several orphans were brought to the Ngoc Van Pagoda to be cared for by the monks there. Since then, the orphanage has grown and now cares for about 20 small children.
