On January 22, 2016 we made a visit to the Thien Tam Orphanage with general supplies and provisions for the upcoming Tet celebration. With 15 young orphans to care for, the orphanage goes through food and other necessities quickly. After talking with the caregivers, we brought bags of rice, noodles, mushrooms, cooking oil, soy sauce, toothpaste, shampoo and detergent.

Tet is the Vietnamese new year, and is the biggest holiday of the year. Poor orphanages such as Thien Tam can rarely offer the orphans the traditional food that is customary with the new year. On this visit, we also brought ingredients for Tet cakes, candies, cashew nuts, soda, and fruit drinks, ensuring the orphanage can truly have a Tet celebration for the children.

This visit was made possible through the kindness of a family in the USA. Thank you!!!
