In February 2022 we visited the Dai An Orphanage with some general supplies. The caretakers had given us a list of items they were running low on, and our team of volunteers bought everything at local markets. We loaded up a van and drove out to meet the children.
Upon our arrival, we brought everything to the courtyard adjacent the gardens. The children were excellent helpers! On this visit, we brought a box of dried fish, pork, bags of mung beans, racks of eggs, fish pies, snacks, and toiletries.
As a nice treat for the children, we also brought chilled dragon fruit slices for everyone to enjoy. Yummy!
This charity trip was made possible through the kindhearted donations of Sharon Kelly, Stephen Milne, and Scott Huynh. Thank you!!!
ABOUT THE DAI AN ORPHANAGE
The Dai An Orphanage is located in Cam Ranh district, south of Nha Trang, and cares for approximately 30 young children. It was founded by the same church that runs the Sunflower Orphanage in Nha Trang. Dai An is in a tranquil countryside locale and has a large facility for the children to grow and play. The caretakers provide a nurturing and loving home for these amazing children. There are also classrooms in the orphanage to provide the children with extra tutoring after school.
