In late February 2019 we visited the Hy Vong Home for Disabled Children with lots of fun gifts. Hy Vong is a loving home for children with neurological disorders whose parents cannot afford the specialized care their children require. There are children with cerebral palsy, autism, as well as deaf, mute, and blind children being cared for at the home. Located in the countryside to the southwest of Nha Trang, the nuns at Hy Vong provide for the children and offer a nurturing home.

We contacted the nuns to learn of their current needs, and they had some specific requests. On this visit, we brought 4 wall-mounted fans to keep the children cool on hot days, a new bicycle, and cooking seasonings and sauces.

It was a sunny day and the children gathered on the courtyard steps. We handed out some snacks and balloons, and some of the children eagerly tried out the new bicycle.

This charity trip was sponsored by the kindness of a family in the USA.

Thank you!!!
