In early July 2019 we visited the Dai An Orphanage with new shoes for all the children. Dai An is a loving home to a large group of young orphans, located in a peaceful country setting to the south of Nha Trang. The new school year is approaching, and the caretakers asked for new sandals and sneakers for the children. They gave us all the children’s shoe sizes and our team bought everything at local markets. We also brought rain ponchos and treats.
The children gathered in the common room and our coordinator, Mai Khanh, handed out treats and shoes to the children. Everyone tried on their new footwear, dove into their snacks, and some even had fun with the rain ponchos. There were lots of smiles on this fun visit!
This charity trip was made possible by the kind donations of Sharon Kelly, Stephen Milne, Molly Phillips, and Dan, Van, and Devin Haynes.
Thank you!!!
