In April 2023 we brought some big gifts to the Nhan Ai Orphanage, then held a feast for the children. We had reached out to the nuns at the orphanage and asked if there were any large items the orphanage needed. With so many children in their care, the nuns asked for a new freezer for the kitchen, plus sturdy new cabinets to act as bookshelves.

We arranged to have a new freezer and two large metal cabinets delivered to the orphanage. Once set up, the nuns and children stocked the shelves with books and loaded items into the freezer. We then sponsored a big Easter dinner for all the children. It was a delicious feast! Such a happy day!

This special charity trip was made possible through the kind donations from the Kinghurst Foundation, Jamie Heine and Jake de boer, and Eamonn Gahan. Thank you!!!

ABOUT THE NHAN AI ORPHANAGE

Founded in 1996 by Sister Nguyen Thi Bao Quyen, the Nhan Ai Orphanage resides behind the Giao Xu Phu Nhon Catholic Church in Cam Ranh, to the south of Nha Trang. The orphanage is run by the nuns of Nhan Ai and relies entirely upon donations, most of which come from people in the community. Nhan Ai is the largest orphanage that we assist and houses approximately 130 orphans in a wonderfully tranquil home.
