In November 2022 we delivered lots of food and general supplies to the Thien Tam Orphanage. After speaking with the caretakers, we took down a detailed list of items they needed for the month. We worked with local markets and had it all delivered to the orphanage. The children were excellent helpers, and stacked everything nice and neat on the courtyard steps.
For this charity trip, we brought bags of rice, packages of glass noodles, boxes of ramen, sweet rice, seasonings, siracha, sugar, milk, seaweed, soy sauce, cooking oil, yogurt, vegetables, pork, fish, peanuts, butter, sausages, dish soap, and snacks.
After bringing all the provisions inside, the children sat at the community table and had a yummy lunch that we had arranged.

ABOUT THE THIEN TAM ORPHANAGE
Founded in 2004, the Thien Tam Orphanage lies 20 minutes south of Nha Trang’s city center, in Phuoc Dong ward. The orphanage is run by Nguyen Dinh Chi and his wife Nguyen Thi Kim Lien. A former orphan himself, Chi set up the orphanage in his home as a place of love and sanctuary for orphans in the community. They currently care for 13 young children.
