On November 20, 2013 we celebrated Teacher’s Day at the Loc Tho Charity School and Orphanage. Teacher’s Day is a big holiday in Vietnam, and most schools have a ceremony thanking the teachers for their dedication to the children. At Loc Tho there was a ceremony and the children performed songs and dances for the amazing teachers, all of whom have dedicated their careers to educating children from the lowest income families in the region. Thanks to the continued generosity of Richard and Marjorie of the USA, these teachers were presented with gifts from their students. Some of the funds were also used to buy new educational posters for the classrooms. Thank you Richard and Marjorie for your ongoing support for this wonderful cause!
