In March 2013 we bought 5 new water filters for the classrooms of the Loc Tho Charity School. This was made possible by the continuing support of Richard and Marjorie of the USA. Poorer communities in Vietnam live off tap water, which is notorious for causing stomach ailments and other problems. By providing the school with water filters, the children can have safe drinking water any time they need it. The idea for the water filters came from Hiep, one of our amazing team leaders in Nha Trang. Hiep spends as much of her free time as she can with the orphans and poor children of Loc Tho, and saw the need for safer drinking water. Thank you Richard and Marjorie for this amazing gift!
