On July 9, 2015 we visited the Lac Thien Orphanage with food and some special gifts. When our coordinator, Mai Khanh, contacted the nuns at the orphanage about their needs, they asked for general foodstuff and some special items. Mai Khanh went to the local market with the head nun, and went on a shopping spree for the orphanage. From friends and family, Mai Khanh also brought two large bags of second hand clothes.
From the market we purchased bags of rice, sleeping mats, brooms, and 7 colorful cabinet drawers for the orphans. Mai Khanh then handed out snacks and balloons, and it instantly became a party. All of this was made possible through the continued dedication of JL Support Services.
