In late July 2019 we visited the Hy Vong Home for Disabled Children with lots of essential supplies. Hy Vong is a loving home for children with neurological disorders whose parents cannot afford the specialized care their children require. There are children with cerebral palsy, autism, as well as deaf, mute, and blind children being cared for at the home. Located in the countryside to the southwest of Nha Trang, the nuns at Hy Vong provide for the children and offer a nurturing home.
We contacted the caretakers about their needs and organized a visit. Our team brought milk, seasonings, sausages, cooking oil, soy sauce, laundry detergent, floor soap, dish soap, coloring books, colored pencils, crayons, and snacks.
The children gathered on the steps and our team handed out gift bags of snacks. We then spent some time with the caretakers and these lovely children.
This wonderful gift was made possible through the kindness of a family in the USA.
Thank you!!!
