In early March 2020 we brought lots of essential supplies to the Nhan Ai Orphanage in Cam Ranh. With the corona virus active in the region, the orphanages and charity homes are taking extra precautions to keep the children safe. One of those measures is limiting visits, and we wanted to make sure Nhan Ai had all the essential supplies and foodstuff they required during this difficult time.
We spoke with the nuns and made a list of their most pressing needs. Our team bought everything at local markets and arranged to have the supplies delivered to the orphanage. We brought many bags of rice, boxes of milk, and cleaning supplies.
After gathering around the supplies on the orphanage’s front steps, the children were excellent helpers and carried everything inside. Such amazing children!
This visit was made possible through a donation from the BEI Foundation. Thank you!!!
ABOUT THE NHAN AI ORPHANAGE
Founded in 1996 by Sister Nguyen Thi Bao Quyen, the Nhan Ai Orphanage resides behind the Giao Xu Phu Nhon Catholic Church in Cam Ranh, to the south of Nha Trang. The orphanage is run by the nuns of Nhan Ai and relies entirely upon donations, most of which come from people in the community. Nhan Ai is the largest orphanage that we assist and houses approximately 130 orphans in a wonderfully tranquil home.
