On March 14, 2020 we visited the Thien Tam Orphanage with essential supplies. With the corona virus active in the region, the orphanages and charity homes are taking extra precautions to keep the children safe. One of those measures is limiting visits, and we wanted to make sure Thien Tam had all the essential supplies and foodstuff during this difficult time.

We spoke with the caretakers and made a list of their most pressing needs. We brought boxes of instant noodles, bottles of chili sauce, cooking oil, fish sauce, soy sauce, seasonings, packages and cans of meats, bags of nuts, dried squid, bags of vegetables, and laundry detergent.

After the children helped stacking all the provisions on the orphanage’s front steps, we handed out biscuits to the children, then everyone had a fruity snack. A lovely visit!

This charity trip was made possible through the kind donations of Tommy Tran, Dane Sawmiller, Jenu Varghese, and Elaine Nguyen. Thank you!!!
