In September 2023 we brought lots of supplies to the Hy Vong Home for Disabled Children. We also brought some special surprises to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival and helped pay the education costs for the upcoming school year. After speaking to the caretakers, our team of volunteers bought lots of food and general provisions from local markets and loaded up a van. We made the drive out to the home and carried everything to the main courtyard.

On this visit, we brought milk, packages of white noodles, boxes of ramen, yogurt, canned fish, canned meat, bean curd, duck eggs, chicken eggs, coco powder, sugar, rice, toilet paper, and mosquito rackets. To celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival, we also handed out moon cakes and festive lanterns for the children to take home to their families. To support the children’s education, we also gave the caretakers funds to buy school supplies for the upcoming academic year. Finally, our team prepared cups of chocolate ice cream for all to enjoy. There were lots of big smiles!

This charity trip was made possible through the kindness of a family in the USA. Thank you!!!
