On December 25, 2015 we brought a Christmas party to the Nhan Ai Orphanage. Nhan Ai cares for over 130 children in the poor countryside of Cam Ranh. Celebrations are always a challenge, as they rely entirely upon donations for support. The orphanage sits adjacent a Christian church, and Christmas is one of their biggest holidays.
Through the kindness of the McDuffie and Stewart families, we were able to bring a fun celebration to all of the orphans. The children gathered at the decorated courtyard of the church, and many of the smaller orphans were decked out in Santa outfits. So cute! We supplied gift bags for all of the children, plus treats for the party. The nuns of Nhan Ai organized games and songs, and with Christmas lights and decorations all around, it was a fantastic evening.
