In December 2016 we brought essential supplies to the Nhan Ai Orphanage, and on December 25 we had a fun Christmas party for the children. Nhan Ai is a loving home to over 130 orphans, located in a peaceful countryside setting in Cam Ranh, to the south of Nha Trang. The nuns at Nhan Ai provide a warm and caring environment for orphans, from newborns to high school aged. Dependent upon donations for their survival, we contacted the nuns about their most pressing needs at the moment, and told them we wanted to have a fun holiday party for the children.
Our team brought all of the essential items on the nuns’ list, which included baby formula, milk, shampoos and soaps, shoes, blankets, and general foodstuff. We also brought snacks, toys, and fun presents for the children, which the nuns giftwrapped in preparation for the party. On Christmas day, the littlest children dressed up in adorable Christmas outfits, and Santa handed out presents for everyone. The children sang, danced, and played lots of games in the orphanage’s courtyard, and it was a joyous holiday party!
