On November 13, 2015 we completed our construction project at the Song Lo Orphanage, and also brought fun playground items. This project was funded through donations made by JL Support Services.
On all of our previous visits to the poor Song Lo Orphanage, we had always had to walk through their main courtyard, composed of dirt and sand. On rainy days it resembled a swamp, with was both unclean and unsafe for the children. We embarked on a construction project that culminated in the courtyard being entirely paved. We also provided sturdy canopies to keep the sun and rain out, and improved the orphanage’s main gate.
To add to the fun, on this day we also brought swings and playground toys for the orphans. It was a great visit!
