On Tuesday July 2, 2012 the Boisson family drove up to the Mai Am Anh Dao Orphanage with food essentials.
A few days before, we learned that the orphanage was running low on food. Also, it had been about a month since our last delivery of baby formula. Quang Khanh and Jeff spent a day shopping for food, and also picked up 24 new cans of baby formula (2 boxes of 12 cans each). They drove up on Tuesday with all of the supplies.
One month ago, Alan from Australia pledged to support the orphanage’s need for baby formula, to ensure the little ones are getting all the nutrition that they require. This was the second month that we brought formula to the kids, and Sister An Son was very happy to see two boxes packed with cans of formula.
All together, the Boissons brought boxes of dried fish, dried squid, dried shrimp, rice, noodles, eggs, cooking oil, and spices. As always, they also handed out snacks and balloons for all of the kids to play with, and it was a fun visit for everyone.
Thanks once again to Alan for his generous gift, and to Khanh and Jeff, who always have the children at Mai Am Anh Dao in their hearts.
