On May 11, 2018 we visited the Thua Sai Home for Disabled Children with a new freezer. Located in a peaceful country setting in Cam Ranh, to the south of Nha Trang, Thua Sai offers a home and school for children with neurological disorders whose parents cannot afford the specialized care their children require. We asked the nuns what the Home required, and they requested a new freezer for the children’s meals.
Our volunteers brought the brand new freezer to Thua Sai, and all the children crowded around it in the common room. We handed out frozen snacks to commemorate the occasion, plus balloons for everyone. The children were fascinated by the new freezer, and some took the opportunity to play in the giant cardboard box that came with it. Everyone had lots of fun!
This charity trip was made possible through the kind donation of Khang Do.
